Weddings at Panorama House in Wollongong are always something special, between the sweeping ocean views and the natural elegance of the venue, there’s very little you need to do to create magic. But what truly makes each wedding unforgettable is the couple at the heart of it, and working with Sam and Chantelle was an absolute pleasure.
Building a Connection Before the Ceremony
They reached out to me six months before their big day, and we caught up over coffee a few times to get to know each other. These early catch-ups are so important, not just to go through the legal process or logistics, but to ensure that I’m the right fit for their celebration. As a Sydney celebrant, it gave me a chance to understand their dynamic, their personalities, and the tone they envisioned for their ceremony: relaxed, heartfelt, and personal.
Sam and Chantelle’s love story began three and a half years ago when they met through work. After six months of sharing shifts and building a friendship, they finally took the leap into something more. Their relationship grew stronger with time, filled with little adventures, from learning to fish together to moving in and building a life side by side. It was clear from the start that they shared not just love, but deep respect and joy in one another’s company.
Crafting a Personalised Ceremony

Once we locked it in, I worked closely with them to draft a ceremony script that reflected who they are, in a way that felt natural and seamless on the day. As a Sydney wedding celebrant, every couple I work with is different, and I make it a priority to tailor the ceremony to match their energy and values, not just using a template, but creating something that truly belongs to them.
For Sam and Chantelle’s wedding, I also provided my PA system to ensure all guests could hear every moment clearly, from the vows to the music. A special touch on the day was having one of Sam’s family members take care of the music, and she absolutely nailed it. Her understanding of the timing and mood meant every transition felt smooth and intentional.

Holding Space for Their Most Important Moments

With a breathtaking backdrop and a carefully prepared ceremony, everything came together effortlessly. My role on the day was to guide the couple through the formalities while holding space for their emotions, laughter, and the small but powerful moments in between. It’s moments like these that remind me why I love being a Sydney marriage celebrant; it’s not just about the words, but the shared experience.
Being part of Sam and Chantelle’s wedding reminded me once again why I love this work so much. As a celebrant Sydney couples can trust, it’s about more than officiating, it’s about connection, collaboration, and creating a ceremony that feels just right.
Congratulations again, Sam and Chantelle! Thank you for trusting me with your special day.
