Greater Sydney
Sydney is the city where two people pick a place — a sandstone cove, a backyard with twinkle lights, the foyer of a venue they walked past on a first date — and decide to make it the place they say I do. Together with JO works across every corner of Greater Sydney to make that day feel exactly like the couple, not like a script someone else wrote.
Jolley Hoang Nguyen (Jo) is a registered marriage celebrant authorised by the Attorney-General's Department to legally marry couples anywhere in Australia. Every ceremony is written from scratch with the couple, in English, Vietnamese, or both — and the legal paperwork (NOIM, Declaration of No Legal Impediment, certificate) is handled start to finish so there's nothing to worry about on the day.
From the registry-style legal union to the full bilingual ceremony with parents, friends, vows, rituals and tea — there's a package for every couple, and pricing is transparent.

Why Local Matters
Sydney has more wedding venues per square kilometre than almost anywhere else in Australia, and the right ceremony depends as much on the room as on the words. Jo knows the venues — the ones with great acoustics for music, the ones where the wind carries voice over the harbour, the ones where the light is best at 4pm in November. That local knowledge shapes timing, vow length, microphone setup, and where to stand.
And because every ceremony is written and delivered by the same person, there's no handover between celebrant and MC, no stranger reading a script. One person knows the couple's story, knows the venue, and runs the day so the couple can be present.
Local FAQs
Most couples book 6–12 months out. By law, the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) must be lodged at least one month and one day before the ceremony, and no more than 18 months before — so the legal-minimum lead time is just over a month, but peak-season Saturdays in spring and autumn book up well before that.
Yes. As an Authorised Civil Marriage Celebrant, Jo can perform a legal marriage anywhere in Australia — backyards, beaches, parks, restaurants, registry-style at the Liverpool office, or at any licensed venue. Some councils require a permit for public-park ceremonies; Jo flags that as part of planning.
Yes — and not the token-phrase kind. Jo is fluent in both English and Vietnamese, and writes ceremonies that flow naturally between the two so every guest, including non-English-speaking parents and grandparents, feels included.
All packages include unlimited consultations, a fully personalised ceremony script, the legal paperwork (NOIM, Declaration, marriage certificate), professional PA system and microphones, and the rehearsal. Larger packages add reception MC services, tea ceremony hosting, and full-day coordination.
